So last night, me and my boyfriend decided to watch The Dictator.
And so we put it to play and on the very first minute of the film, the music started to playing and I felt as if electricity passed through me.
I have to tell you something. When I know my music, I know my music. And when I remember something, I'm 110% that I'm correct.
So as the filmed started and the music started to play, I immediatelly recognized the background music. Damn, I had it as a ringtone back in 2006-2007 or something. Which is a long time, and probably why I couldn't remember the name of the band nor the song.
Quite embarrasing, I know. But it was one of those moments that you really do know something, but your brain is stuck.
"What to do, what to do, I have to find it!" it, I said to myself. So then I went into my last.fm profile :)
And yes, victory!

After some Youtube-ing, I found out this song, which is the actual one that is used on the movie. But it's obvious from where they got the idea ;) Well, it's not the first time that an awesome EBM or Industrial or any other cool song has been coppied into something pop. They have done that millions of times with Greek songs (trust me, I'm Greek and I know)

I'm glad you picked this up and electricity also ran through me when I heard it. I thought I was the only one. I ran home and furiously googled it afterwards and nowhere on the internet could I see anything about Ground Zero officially being used in the film. I wonder if the Retrosic even knew.
