Gothic workout outfits - in other words, holidays are over

Hello everyone!

I'm officially back from my holidays! I enjoyed this summer a lot actually. My and my bf visited my home country, Greece, went to a friend in France for a few days and then we did small trips here in Sweden.

So, what do I have now, besides some amazing pictures and memories? Well, extra kilos.
Sad but true.

So, no more excuses. I have been working out almost daily and I keep on doing so, even if the weather doesn't allow it. If you live in Sweden, you know what I mean.
By work out, I mean going out for powerwalks. It's a nice exercise, even though I'm seriously thinking of either going to the gym, or even going to the swimming pool. I used to go swimming when I was a kid, and a bit older, and I love it.

Of course even when I work out, I don't want to miss my Gothic style. I do wear my black clothes of course, and I have bought a pair of training leggins (kind of necessary because they are comfy and good for letting the skin breath).

But I'm going to give you some tips of what to wear when you want to go training (gym, park, wherever) and keep your awesome dark, goth, ebm style!

Here is a Polyvore set I made, for girls.

Black - Gothic workout clothes

As you see, I have included traditional athletics clothes, but if you combine them with a pair of cool socks, the outfit instantly changes. Or you can wear a nice bats and webs pair of leggings with a simple, comfy, cotton shirt and there you have it again.

I also have my nails painted black so that gives also an extra gothiness touch.

The above are just suggestions of course. You can improvise and make your own dark-inspired work out outfit.

More gothic clothing tips for work

This is another post of the "what to wear at work if you are a goth" series.

Today I had a big meeting. As I have mentioned before, I work within the website development branch.

Of course in meetings I want to look nice, serious and professional. But I don’t want to lose my gothic style.

So this is what I decided to wear today, my lovely Hell bunny Busby dress.

I had a HM almost steampunk jacket on top, which is black and has similar buttons as the dress, a pair of thick leggings (it snowed again today damn it) and my winter boots.

And not to forget to mention my myblack eyeliner and my skull ring. I was ready to go!

So you see, you can dress in a goth-dark fashion and still look smart and professional!

Besides the whole outfit thing, I did have a long day and I'm exhausted now.

Even though I love wearing that dress because it's super flattering and I wish all girls were wearing skirts and dresses because that makes us super cute, I will put on my pjs now and go to bed.

Have a nice evening everyone.

Gothic fashion for the fall

So, September is just around the corner and I have a hard time in finding with what my wardrobe should consist of, for this fall.

So far I have decided on a new pair of dr. Martens. Yum.

But I could use a couple of shirts from http://www.gothicfashion.se/ and maybe a new skirt, not too mini, just for everyday outfits.

Girls and boys, I will say it once more. If we are good at what we do (and well ok, we don't work in a bank) we can wear whatever we want. Stay goth/ebm/industrial..or whatever you want to call it. I know sometimes we need to dress up a bit more "properly" when there are meetings coming up, but still, wear that button up shirt, but use a cool backle or your favourite clubbing ring. It will look so cool with that suit ;)

Oops, got to go back to work.
Cheers

Goth tip of the day

There are some days that you just can't find what to wear!
(Unless you are one of our customers and have picked your cool t-shirts from gothicfashion, but that's a different story).

Even though you might have many t-shirts, pants or skirts, some days it's a fact, nothing fits right.
So what do you do?

Well, don't panic. Just pick something that you know you will feel comfortable, yes even your training pants, and transform it with a nice goth hair clip, or necklase, your favourite goth ring, yes don't be afraid, and for the boys, just put on that cool armband that you save for the clubnights, or your evil, goth watch.

And there you have it.
It's the simple details that make the difference.

Just be innovative, be cool and above all different ;)

Cheers
