In a different country

Yes I like the darkness and the goth culture but right now I'm so happy that I'm in my sunny home country (Greece) for a few days.

I haven't realized it untill I moved to Sweden that I (well "we" I guess) need the sun. It's vitamin D, our body needs it.

Today was my first day in Athens since New Years and I had a few things to take care. I had to go to the bank etc, so I wanted to be somewhat well dressed.

Of course in black. Always in black. So the outfit of the day was the following:

My dr.Martens, my black pair of jeans, my cool black with red stars belt, my black shirt (3/4 sleeves length) and in general it was a grown-up, casual, toned down goth outfit.

Here is my belt and my jeans (yes I'm using the same picture from my previous post :) )
And these are my Martens boots

And on top I was wearing my beautiful Mango black trench coat. It was one of the few days that I looked nice, a nice young lady :P

Now I'm in the family house, chilling in the sofa watching TV. It's a slow day today but I have many days ahead of me. I'm hoping for a nice goth clubbing night. I'll definatelly post some pictures if that happens.

I wish I weren't that tired and I could write more but it's time for me to go to bed.

Stay goth everyone!

When and how I wear my favourite Gothic style t-shirts

I have a bunch of goth t-shirts that I often wear when I'm not in a meeting with my customers.

Even though people in Sweden are very open minded and they tend to judge you for our skills and not for your appearance, still I prefer to dress more "professionally" when I meet with them, simply because I like it.

(Yes it's black and it involves a nice black shirt and some subtle goth accessories but I'll write another post about that)

Now, when it comes to t-shirts, I chose to wear them as often as possible because they are comfy and because it shows who I am.

Being a freelancer means that I'm flexible with my schedule, but I do keep it between normal business hours since my customers are working at these hours. However, I'm also flexible when it comes to where I work.

I work from home mostly but I often take my laptop and go to the local coffee shop. There is no dress code in coffee shops. Casual or smart dressed, anything goes. And I choose often casual because I want to be comfy when I'm messing with codes or numbers :)

But enough of that.

I want to share with you my fav T-shirts and tops and some simple styling tips (for girls this time).
It's not anything fancy at this time but I'll come back with more stuff ;)

The first is my Rammstein T-shirt which was a present from my amazing boyfriend. (The floor is extremely clean so don't worry about it). I usually wear it with my black jeans and this cool belt.
Easy casual daily goth/ebm/alternative style, don't you agree?

The following is my Emily strange T-shirt. It says Wizard of Odd and I usually wear it with this palestinian scarf along with the same belt as above and my jeans or black skirt.

This is my Gothic Beauty magazine t-shirt. It was a gift from a friend and it has a special place in my heart :). Unfortunately I took a selfie with my camera and even though I adore my Nexus 5, it's front camera is crappy.

And me wearing it (the selfie I mentioned above)

In conclusion, when I want to stay goth but in a casual, simple style, I use my accessories to express my style.
For instance, today I'm wearing a simple black T-shirt, my black jeans and this cool belt with red stars.

I leave you with my simple tips for today and I'll back soon with more :)
Stay goth.
X.
